Pre-Scan for Success

Use the Intro letter

This will do most of the explaining about the scan for you to save staff and your time. We usually see good results when the front office staff member hands this form to the patient when they check in. This allows them to read it over in the waiting room and prepare any questions or concerns they might have.

Use the Antioxidant Assessment

The patient will tell you what are their motivations/health concerns, level of commitment, and how much they are willing to invest to address their health concerns.

Placing Orders

Step #1: The office contact information section has fillable fields. Fill out these fields and then save the file so this information prints on every order form.

Step #2: Select the products and shipping frequency

Step #3: Have patient fill out shipping and billing info

Step #4: Submit order

  1. Add scan card number – this can be found in the records
    in the S3 app.
  2. Scan and email order then confirm order in back office
    (orders take 24 hours to process)
  3. Or Submit order online (confirmation is immediate)

NOTE: Default the patient’s username to their email and password to “ab123456”. This will allow them to manage their order online at www.nuskinusa.com

Using an Invite Link

  1. Create member invite link in the back office of www.nuskinusa.com
  2. Save this link on the desktop, iphone, or web browser for easy access.
  3. Click on the link to place member orders. You can use the order form to collect the information and place orders at the end of the day.
  4. Make sure to add the scan card number and select ADR – this can be found in the records in the S3 app.

Rescanning, Tips & FAQ

Rescanning

  1. Search the record in the S3 App to find the customer.
  2. Tap the ReScan Icon. This will only be accessible if the patient is on a active ADR for a skin carotenoid score (SCS) certified product and they have a scan number number associated with their ADR.
  3. There is a rescan bonus of $8 that’s paid to the scanner leasee every time you rescan. This can be done 1x/month and doesn’t use a scan credit.

NOTE: If this Icon is grayed out, it’s because:

  1. Their ADR isn’t scheduled to ship this month
  2. They have already been rescanned this month
  3. They don’t have a scan card number associated with their ADR – this can be fixed by either logging into their account and adding it or calling 800-487-1000 to add it.

Tips

Expectations – Don’t withhold care from the people that do want help because others don’t. You can’t help those that don’t want help. The teacher arrives when the student is ready.

  • 50% of people don’t care
  • 25% will take your recommendation almost immediately.
  • 25% will want to think about it and finish their current supplements.

Listen more, talk less

Be conversational and not salesy

Don’t force the scan if the person isn’t interested

Focus on the people that are interested in improving

Don’t expect people to be able to optimize their score with diet alone. Most people will not radically change their diet enough. Therefore it is prudent to encourage them to eat healthier and take Lifepak/Youth. Do not set up false expectations that they will get into the blue without some help from Lifepak/Youth.

FAQ

  1. What if someone scores over 40,000? This is a great starting point, you’re in the top 6% and are obviously doing some things right. However, you’re probably not eating perfectly every day, right? If you want to take yourself to the next level, you can add lifepak and Youth.
  2. What if someone score is over 50,000? Wow, you’re in the top 1%, you must be eating a lot of fruit and vegetables. Tell me what you’re doing? ……… I’m not concerned about your antioxidant score. Would you like to take your health to the next level? Recommend Youth
  3. What if someone scores very poor? These people may get upset so you want to empower them. The good news is that this is something that we can improve within 2 months. We have been able to get people with your score into the green or blue zone. RECOMMEND LIFEPAK/YOUTH
